Approve a physical sample after the main specification and artwork have been agreed, and before the production run is released. A sample makes the decisions visible and tangible.
Check the finished dimensions, product fit, paper shade, printed colour, handle attachment, folds and any finishing details. Carry the sample with realistic contents when possible.
Record any changes and review an updated sample when a change affects the approved result. Agree the acceptance points for the production order.
