Choose the paper
The paper affects the bag’s structure, colour and hand feel. Compare suitable stocks using samples, especially when the artwork needs accurate colour.
The paper influences colour, texture, stiffness and the way the bag folds. Start with the appearance you want and the load the finished bag needs to carry.
A screen cannot show paper shade and hand feel reliably. Look at samples of suitable stocks, especially if the artwork depends on precise printed colour.
Paper weight alone does not determine performance. Bag dimensions, folds, base reinforcement and handles should be assessed together on a finished sample.
